Records: 1,239,952 · Complete: 100%

During the Second World War, hundreds of thousands of allied troops were captured in fighting arenas around the world and held in Prisoner of War Camps in both Europe and Asia. Whilst a large number were liberated at the end of the war, sadly many died before the end of the war, whilst in the camps. This collection contains information about the soldiers who were captured, where they were held and often, what happened to them.
