Information
Later escaped from Tunnel 'Harry' during the great escape. Recaptured at Hirschberg station by Railway Police. The taken to Sachsenhausen concentration camp where he escaped from in September 1944, upon recapture he was kept in solitary confinement (At Sachsenhausen KL) until being moved by the SS to the Tyrol via Dachau and eventually being liberated by US troops in May 1945.
