Delbert I. "Shorty" Belton (1924 - 2013) - Find A Grave Memorial | Delbert "Shorty" Belton was born on December 21, 1924 in Sunnyside, Washington to Luther and Marion Belton. Shorty was one of 13 children in his family. He served in the army during WWII. Shorty was a 30 year employee at Kaiser Aluminum Plant at Trentwood. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 29th at noon at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. | ||
Myrtle Alice "Giggles" Day Belton (1930 - 2008) - Find A Grave Memorial | Myrtle A. Belton (Age 77) Our dearest Myrtle A. Belton departed the earth on January 25, 2008 and was received into her Lord's arms. She is survived by her honorable husband of almost 60 years, Delbert I. Belton; their son, William Belton; her sisters, Donna Robertson, Virginia Bennett, and Dorothy Gamble; and by her brother, Roger Day. Myrtle was a beloved soul who shared her unique laugh and loving charity with all who had the pleasure of meeting her acquaintance. She was nick named "Giggles" by those she associated with. Myrtle and Delbert have lived in Hillyard for the last 40 years. In her memory, all who knew her and had the opportunity to share her great life are invited to her visitation on Monday, January 28 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday, January 29, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Riplinger Funeral Home. Myrtle's funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. DIVISION ST., SPOKANE, WA 99207, followed by a committal service at Greenwood Memorial Terrace where we will give her to God. She will be dearly missed by all. | ||
