fc James Hawkins, 19, was killed in action on November 22, 1944, the day he had previously been missing in action. He was a member of the mortar section, Fourth platoon of "B" Company, 318th infantry. He was killed in a night attack on the town of Lauderfang, outside of Falquement France.
