SSGT Paul Wayne Brown was born on December 5th 1919 in Tipton, Indiana. His parents are Paul M. and Catherine H. Oppelt.

He finished HIgh School and got a job at Pearless Wire Company. He was unmarried and his religion was Jewish.

He enlisted in the military on June 3rd 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana. His unit was 315 Infantry Regiment, Company was 79th Division Alpha Company.

He was deployed somewhere in France, and was Killed in Action on June 24th 1944. He is buried at St. Boniface Cemetery in Lafayette, Indiana. He was awarded the purple heart for his actions in WWII.
