argaret Barclay Adams Menefee (my sister) Margaret Barclay Adams Menefee, age 70, of Middletown, DE went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 2, 2005, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Anderson, South Carolina 29 July 1935 to Eugene Jackson Adams and Elizabeth Wilson Johnson. Margaret served as a medical tech in the US Army. She retired after 19 years of work as a nurse with the Nursing Home Care Unit of the Veterans Hospital in Elsmere. She was noted for her philosophical reflective writings, her rabbit tracks and of course her banana pudding! Margaret is survived by a brother, 2 sisters, 2 sons, 3 daughters, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In Dec 2005 I had to let her leave. But part of her is still with all who loved her. When I remember her when I share these memories with others of the the little things she did that made me feel it was special to be her little sister - that is how she lives on inside each of our hearts! My older sister Margaret and I only had 5 years together as I not live with my older sister growing up. We only got to know each other after we were grown. Those 5 years we had together were very special to me. She made notecards and pinned then on a cork board so she could remember all she prayed for and the special needs of each. And she prayed for everyone and each prayer was unique! Also she start telling/writing you something and before you know it she be off on an entirely different subject but after several meanderings she usually made it back to the subject at hand. We called these her rabbit tracks and she laugh here I go off on another rabbit track. She made the best bannana pudding in the world! But mostly my older sister left me lots of nieces and nephews to remember her by!
