illiam Morrison, born 1803 in North Carolina, married Elizabeth Dowg( Unsure of maiden surname.). They settled near Greeneville, Greene, Tennessee. Their youngest child was Jacob H. Morrison whose remains are interred at the Wesely's Chapel Methodist Cemetary in Baileyton, Greene, Tennessee. The parents of William and Elizabeth Morrison are unknown. I have been unable to find any record of such parents at the Tennessee State Library and Archives in Nashville, Tennessee despite searching for 5 years.
