ur Tuscan family in Maine started with John A. Tuscan, b. abt. 1787 in Mass., Maine or NH. He married Nancy Merrow b. 1788. John and Nancy married in Athens in 1812, and lived in Bingham, Maine until his death in 1862, and Nancy's death in 1864. They were buried at Gilman's cemetary in Bingham, Maine. I am seeking information of who John Tuscan's and Nancy's parents are and more about them. Where they came from etc.. Our family story is that there were three Tuscan brothers from Italy who came to America via England , possibly France, England then to America.
