Included are those men and women who worked in the political campaign against slavery, but also those who wrote anti-slavery poems, novels, and plays. Each entry contains a biography, a bibliography and, where possible, an image. The names listed below are just a start and, in time, I hope to provide information on a great deal of abolitionists.
