eorge A. Ravan was born on August 18, 1933 at Clarita, Coal County, Oklahoma. He attended Olney schools graduating in 1950. He entered the United States Marine Corps in 1950; retiring in 1979 at the rank of Major. He married Mary Lee Littlejohn on July 10, 1954 in McAlester, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. They had four daughters: Sherry Lee, Debra Anne, Karen Lynne and Brenda Diane; and one grandson, Tyler Kenneth Trebus. He died on December 2, 2001 at the age of 68, at Waco, McLennan County, Texas.
