IPAVA, IL - Orin C. Chipman age 67, of 8368 E. Airport Rd. passed away at 9:15 AM Saturday May 30, 2009 at his residence.

He was born March 28, 1942 at Canton, the son of Chester C. and Viola (Hay) Chipman.

Surviving are his parents of Lewistown, 3 sons Orlen Chipman of Marietta, Troy Chipman of Ipava, and Eric (Chrisell) Chipman of Chicago, 1 daughter Leann Evans of Plano, 2 brothers Dean E. (Sandy) Chipman of Ipava, Eldon L. (Linda) Chipman of Lewistown, 2 sisters Karen A. (Jack) Lofton of Broken Arrow, OK; and Kathryn S. (Jeff Hadsall) Chipman of Lewistown, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 1 infant brother Roger Chipman.

Orin worked for NTN Bower of Macomb and retired after 29 years. He also farmed in the London Mills area for many years. He was of the Christian Faith.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday June 3, 2009 at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Randy Munson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at the memorial home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ipava Fire Department & Rescue Squad.
