Drafted on  Aug 6th1943 into the United States Army - Served in the 147  Infantry Division. Upon Arrival to New Caledonia. His Crew was reassigned to the US Marine Corp. he then went on the Ship Robert L Howze. And was told they were on their way to the beaches of Iwo-Jima and Omaha beach.Ordered By Sergant Washer.
