Lt Bernie Peters, Pilot, 310th BG, 379th BS, B-25 MTO


     Lt Bernard T Peters flew 49 Combat Missions as a Pilot in the B-25 Mitchell Medium Bomber in the Mediterranean Theatre during WWII, with the 310th Bomb Group, the 379th Bomb Squadron out of Corsica and Italy, 1945.  Lt Peters flew a B-25 home to the ZI, arriving safely at Savannah, GA via the A.T.C. Southern Route.

39564666   Born in Oregon in 1923,  Bernard T Peters was living in Los Angeles County, CA. and enlisted on 9 March, 1943.  Bernie had completed one year of college and was still single at enlistment.
