Service and Social Security documents give the date of birth as November 2, 1908. Died July 13, 1982 in (Spanish Lake) St. Louis County, MO. Served in United States Army during World War II. Records were destroyed in the 1973 National Records Center fire. He was awarded 2 bronze stars for his military service in the Central European and Rhineland Theaters.
