WII Veteran. Served 3 1/2 years from June 1942 to Nov 1945 mostly in California for training and later in Newcastle on Tyne, Yorkshire, England. Later on in July 1945 he went ashore at Utah beach and moved through France, Holland, Belgium and finally Germany.
