Sir Henry Rawlinson

    Born in 1864, the son of a British diplomat. He served in the Myanmar expedition of 1886-1887; in the Sudan campaign of 1898; minister for war during WWI from 1914-1916; and the Second Boer War from 1899-1901. He played an important role in the Battle of Somme and the Battle of Amiens.
