Funeral services for Isaac Fennell, aged 86, a Civil War veteran who died Tuesday evening at 9 o'clock at his home in Kelly Station, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Homewood Baptist church at Logansport. The funeral will be in charge of Allied Post of the American Legion, Ford City, and the deceased will be laid to rest with military honors in the Homewood Baptist cemetery.

Mr. Fennell was well know and highly respected in the community in which he resided. He retired from farm pursuits in which he had been extensively engaged a number of years ago. He served in the Civil War and was a member of John F. Croll Post, G.A.R. of Kittanning. He was a consistent member of the Homewood Baptist church.

Mr. Fennell had been ill two weeks. His death is attributed to dropsy. Surviving him is his widow and five children. Charles, Johnetta; John, at home; Mrs. Lyman Boswer, Manor township; Mrs. C.P. Miller and Mrs. W.R. Miller, Logansport.
