Clark Hardesty dies while serving in the U.S. Army in New Guinea in WWII

Clark (Buddy) Hardesty was killed when serving in the U.S. Army on Beak Island, New Guinea on June 28, 1944. The funeral program shows the service was 4 years after his death. Clark is buried at Fidelity Cemetery in Jasper County,  Missouri where he received Full Military Rites by Legion Guard Honor No. 11 of the American Legion. This funeral card was from the Genealogy Archives of Joelda Marie Doughty Knorpp and currently in the possession of Melinda Bossenmeyer, Canyon Lake, CA
