Levi Alsbury was born in Liverpool township, Jan 1835; died at his home in Cuba, Nov, 25, 1903, aged 68 years, 10 months, and six days.

Mr. Alsbury was married to Elizabeth J. Graham in 1858, who died about a year afterward, Dec, 29, 1860, he was again married, to Miss Sarah Jones.

One Child of the first marriage and six of the second are living, as follows Mrs. Sarah M. DeMott, Miss Lillie Bannegar, Mrs. Harriet D. Norton, Elmer Scott Alsbury, Mrs. Maud L. Bull, Mrs. Pearl Watts and Frank Alsbury.

Mr. Alsbury was a soldier in the civil war, serving in Co. "A" 103d, Ill, Infantry from 1862 to the close of the war.

He was a member of the Christian church and lived a christian life, being a kind father and a good neighbor.

The facts connected with his death from paralysis were given in the last issue of the Journal. The funeral took place at the Christian church Friday Nov. 27, conducted by
Elder Ferguson.
