ara Ellen Little was the daughter of Ninnian Adam Little and Jenny A. Shelton. She never married. At her request, she was buried at the foot of her father's grave. Obit from a Jacksonville, FL, newspaper: "Miss Sara Little, 82, died in St. Augustine on June 25, 1988. She was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. She graduated from the University of Florida in 1938, and received her Masters Degree from the University of Florida in 1950. She was retired from the Public School System of Florida, with over 15 years in the Jacksonville schools. She was the Principal of Beulah Beale: and at the time of retirement in 1967, she was Principal of Forest Hill Elementary. She was a resident of Arlington, Fla. until her recent move to St. Augustine."
