Services for Kenneth B. Scogins, 60, of Henderson will be noon Tuesday at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Dr. Harold Springfield officiating.

Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.

He died Sunday in a Henderson hospital after a brief illness.

Born on Sept. 23, 1932, in Tyler, he was a longtime resident of Henderson. A Baptist, he retired as a truck driver with Pruitt Contractors.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Willadene; son Kenny of Henderson; daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Billy F. Whitehead of Henderson; grandchildren, Teresa Ball, Lisa Maxwell, Michaelle Combs and Leandria Whitehead all of Henderson; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
