Baptized on September 03, 1911 in the Church of Sacred Heart in Charleston, Arkansas by Rev. Columban Schmucky, O. S. B. Sponsors were John Classen and Mary Classen.
Miss Anna May Gilsinger and Julius Pennartz were united in marriage April 8th at 3:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Charleston, Arkansas. Father James, pastor of the church, officiated at the double ring ceremony, in the presence of Thomas Pennartz and Eileen Jones.
Julius Joseph Pennartz, 84, of Charleston died Saturday, March 16, 1996, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a rancher, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston, a member of the American Legion. Inducted in the Army of the United States on September 21, 1942 at Little Rock, Arkansas. World War II Veteran.
A rosary service will be held at 7 p. m., March 18 at Smith Mortuary in Charleston. Funeral will be at 10 a.m., March 19 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Charleston under the direction of Smith Mortuary in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife, Anna; a sister, Kathryn Geesing of Delta, Colorado; two brothers, Conrad of Flagstaff and Sylvan "Jack" Pennartz of Charleston.
Pallbearers will be Harold Conner, Nick Gilsinger, James Corley, Bob Bishop, Wes Lawrence and Everett Buckner.
