In a telegram received late last Saturday afternoon the Navy Department officially informed Professor and Mrs. James H. Hall of the death of their son, Second Lieutenant James T. Hall, 23, in an airplane crash at sea on October 20. He transferred to the Marine Corps and became a dive bomber specialist. It is believed that the accident on October 20 took place some place in the South Pacific battle area.
