CANTON - Lloyd "Dayne" Hayes Jr., 58, of 614 S. Tuscarawas St., Dover, Ohio, formerly of Lewistown, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at his residence.

Born in Canton on July 20, 1949, to Lloyd Dayne and Audrey Irene (Stoker) Hayes Sr., he married Marcie Zinn.

He is survived by his sister, Phyllis (Raymond) Vidito of Enfield, Conn.; his girlfriend, Donita Sherer of Dover, Ohio; his ex-wife, Marcie Zinn; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Loydetta Wilhelm.

He worked for the Bloomington Pump House from 1982 to 1988 and then was self-employed, working in plumbing and heating.

Services will be Monday, Aug. 27 at 1 p.m. at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, Canton, where visitation will be today, Aug. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Rick Atchley will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Canton.
