Donald was the son of a Ollie BISSETT, Sr. Ollie BISSETT, Sr. married a Grand Aunt of mine named susie LARMAN-BISETT-CLARK, who was born in Washington DC Oct., 1897 and died in Lexington SC, I believe although, I think sh was buried where she had lived for many years in Lumberton North Carolina. One of her sister's was my Grandmother Margaret Estella LARMAN-LEWIS-LAWLOR, also born in Washington DC, Jan, 1900.

Donald was married to a Valera MILLER, I believe is correct, who was at one time, the head of welfare in Cumberland Co., NC. they had at least one child a daughter I believe who attented North Caronlin State Univ.

Val, had a masters degree in

sociology and probably other degrees as well. Donald had only one sibling with the same parents and that was Ollie BISSETT, Jr., though his father remarried and had one son or daughter in Texas, where he died. Donald's mother and father divorced sometime in the late 1930's I believe or early 1940's. You can find Donald on the 1930 fed census taken in Anne Arundel Co., Maryland- his father was a MARINE, at that time.
