Alexander Robert Chisolm was the eldest son of Robert Chisolm. He owned Coosaw Island Plantation in Beaufort District, SC as well as a plantation in McIntosh County, GA.
He died 27 Oct 1827 and is buried at Sheldon Church in Beaufort, SC . In his will, dated 29 May 1827, Alexander Robert Chisolm leaves property and slaves to Chisolm's four sons Alexander R., John M. Edward N. and Robert .
