When you are making your family tree, most of the time you find a few surprises. I found out that one of my Swedish ancestors moved to New Brunswick Canada and became a gold miner. On the 1900 census his occupation is listed as miner, gold. It just seemed funny to me that his occupation was listed as miner, gold. But if you think of the times there must have been a lot of people in that very occupation.

I have had fun publishing my family stories in hard bound books. The family likes them too. So now I search online for the information, then I create and publish my books, calendars etc while online. I am sure you will find you have stories too. Just try one publishing project with your family history. You will be happily surprised at the results.
