Mary Louise (Larson) Nelson

Mary Louise (Larson) Nelson Born August 3, 1929, in Kiron, Iowa. Mary passed away October 30, 2008, in Tucson surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; sons, Jack and Rob; daughter- in-law, Claudia; her granddaughter, Cassy and grandson-in-law, Rufus and great-granddaughter, Ruby. She was preceded in death by her guardian angels- sons, Thomas and Paul; as well as her parents and siblings. Mary was a graduate of Iowa State University with a teaching degree in Home Economics. She also attended Gustavus Adolphus College. She only taught school for one year before marrying Robert and enjoying 56 wonderful years of marriage and raising her four sons. She enjoyed U of A sports and was a member of VASA lodge 691 and the OTT YMCA. A celebration of her life will be held at ANGEL VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd. Tucson on Saturday, November 8, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in Mary's name either to her favorite charity, Casa De los Ninos, or to the charity of your choice.
