The Bainbridge Belle was a B-29 Superfortress built at the Bell Marietta Plant and delivered to the US Army Air Force on December 9, 1944. The Aircraft is a model B-29-25-BA with serial number 42-63525, and nicknamed "Bainbridge Belle".

The aircraft was destined for the Pacific war against the empire of Japan, and was flown by an 11man crew comprising;

Ralph Frederic Jorgensen (Pilot), Robert L Brown (CoPilot), Eldred Logan Saviers (Navigator), Frederick Gustav Dencker (Bombardier), Burnell William Anderson (Flight Engineer), Marshall Butler Jones (Radio Operator), David Leroy Edmiston (Central Fire Control Officer), John Gamble Atkinson (Radar Operator), Edward Ambrous Adams (Right Blister Gunner), Frank Joseph Angelini (Left Blister Gunner), Homer Arthur Allison (Tail Gunner).
