You were my big brother's friend and I was the pesky little sister. I can still remember the last time I saw you; you were driving your G.T.O. and you were grinning ear to ear, and those dimples were showing. If you ever peak down from Heaven, maybe your ghost hitches a ride with me, but in my Corvette Stingray. Until we meet again !

Sandy Shelton/Jenkins, Former Girlfriend. Jimmy and I were close, I will always remember him. Everytime I think of him I still see his sweet baby face. No matter how much time passes the Hero's will stay forever etched in our minds as they are forever etched on the wall of memories.

Nancy Bisel, a close friend. Jimmy Dewar was a wonderful person. He was such a great guy to talk to. We met when we were teenagers. I have very fond memories of him. We developed a wonderful relationship. The last time I saw him,he rode me home from the bus stop,and told me he was going into the service. I wished him well. He was in Vietnam a short time when he was killed. He was only 19 years old. He sold his car to a friend before he left,and seeing that car ride down the highway was very hard,knowing I rode in it with him before he left. He has a wonderful family,and many friends. I will never forget him. There are a lot of heroes from that war. Please let's remember them. My life is better for having known him. God Bless You Jimmy. You will always be in my thoughts. He used, to tell me stories, of Jimmy, George Wilson, Fred Gillen and my uncles. I have been in the U.S., Army, for 8, yrs., now and have met a lot, of great men. Jimmy Dewar, was, a great man.
