A unit of our Regiment relieved the 2nd Batt. of the 349th.(which contained Co.H) on Oct 6 on hill 584 which is near the village of Pezzola.I would assume your uncle was killed the day before taking this objective. Pezzola is west of the Santerno River valley above the town of Castel Del Rio.The objective at that time was Mt. Grande, these places should be found on maps of Italy. I can give you names of books that relates the history of that time if you . > >wish. > > Sam
