Theodrick Love Christopher was in November 1809 in Lunenberg County, Virginia, the fifth child and fifth son of John Christopher, Sr. and wife, Nancy Ussery. He married there on 11 Dec 1833 to Frances Ann Ellet Walker born ca 1813 in Virginia. In the late 1840's this family migrated to southern Tennessee, locating in extreme south Giles County next to the Alabama state line. By 1859 the family had found its way to Nacogdoches County. There are ten known children from the union of T Love Christopher and Frances Walker: 1.) Etney Mural (b. 1834, VA) married Edward Rice Christopher, her first cousin, son of William Christopher and Susan G. Pettus, on 29 Nov 1853 in Limeston County, Alabama; 2) Lucy Ann (b. ca 1836, VA) became the 2nd wife of Charles Madison Coats, 9 Sept 1855 in Limestone County, Alabama 3.) Sarah Alica (b. 1838, VA) m. William W. Coats 27 Dec 1860 in Nacogdoches County; 4.) Virginia F. (b. ca 1840, Virginia) m. Jacob Pennington; 5.) Martha Jane ( b. ca 1842, VA) m. William L. White on 18 Dec 1866 in Nacogdoches County; 6.) JOHN DANIEL (b. 8 Jun 1843, VA; d. 28 Jun 1880) m. ELIZABETH A. LEWIS on 27 Dec 1866 in Nacogdoches County; Coleman Hume (b ca 1846, VA) m. Mary T. Shanks on 4 Jan 1869 in Nacogdoches County; 8.) William Love (b. 1 Apr 1847, d. 1921) m. Rebecca Collins on 26 Jan 1875 in Nacogdoches County; 9.) Theodrick Love Christopher and his family lived on Alazan Creek and owned property in the Renaldo Hotchkiss Survey. His wife, Frances Ann Ellet Walker was still living in early 1886, but "Love" Christopher, as he was called, was listed as a widower on the 1900 census. He died January 4, 1901 and is thought to be buried in Harmony Cemetery. (Nacogdoches, Texas)
