James Bridges CMSR was mis-filed

This letter, dated 1963, states there is no CMSR for this man. For some reason the Rev War CMSR for James Bridges is filed with the Confederate CMSR of Robert Boyd, 6th SC Cav [RG 109; M267; Roll 39]

James Bridges was with Capt. Gray's Co., 15 VA Regt of Foot. His CMSR shows he died 14 June 1778. The roll for April 1778, Valley Forge, shows him "in the room of Thoms Simons Sergt under Inoculation."
