Searching for info on my gr-grandmother Mary Caroline Baker-Smith-Treece. Supposedly ran away from Morgan Cty, AL at 18 to be with my gr-grandfather Asa D. Smith in 1872. She states her brothers followed them relentlessly and tried to kill Asa.
