Grandma was born at home in Gallipolis, Ohio on November 27, 1922. She was in a house at 25 Mill Creek, Gallia County, Gallipolis, Ohio.

She passed away of Lung Cancer January 26, 1994 in Holzer Hospital, Gallipolis, Ohio.

She is buried in Vinton, Gallia, Ohio in the Vinton Memorial Cemetery.

Grandma was raised by her Grandparents, Viola and Frank Higgins, her father's parents. She raised in Gallipolis, Gallia, Ohio.

She meet her first husband John William Miller in Jackson and was married February 9, 1940. They had 3 children.

A son, John Luther Miller born February 22, 1941.

And twins, Jackie Lee and Jill Marie born December 7, 1942. The twins passed away on February 6, 1943.

Jackie Lee died at home in Logan, Ohio. And Jill Marie died at Children's Hospital in Columbus within minutes of each. They died of Acute Indigestion. They are buried in Logan, Ohio.

Grandma meet her second husband, Paul Barnes Townsend in Middleport, Ohio. They were married March 29, 1947 in Middleport, Ohio.

They were divorced January 5, 1991.
