SPECIAL FORCES MY-AN (A-426)

SGT Yntema served for a short time at My-An, a new A-Camp we built from the ground up in the Delta of Vietnam. SGT Yntema, was joining the team as I was leaving in June 1967. He then went to Cai-Cai where he won the Medal of Honor in a fashion that was his whole personality!

This Hero We Shall Never Forget
It was my good fortune to have known and served with this genuine hero. He has been in my thoughts and heart all these years.
