Terry I knew only briefly from Jan 66 until May 66. We moved to his dorm the spring quarter of 1966. I was still a freshman in college. Though it was only a short time I knew him, he left an impression as did many other 60 era impressions. Some good, some bad, some sad. Terry was a senior in college, I remember because the next year we moved across the hall in his room. What first strikes you about him and his brother Larry is that they were bald or almost bald. Odd to me for a person so young. Terry let’s said was bold for a lack of words. He jogged a lot, did not have many friends that we knew of, did not drink and constantly talked about girls. He talked so much we had to avoid him at times, we were engineering freshman and had to study, he was a senior in Liberal Arts. We were so glad when he got engaged to a girl called Margaret. He knew that after graduation that he was joining the Army. The last advise we gave him was to take a lot of foot powder (if not you would certainly give away your position), take a mosquito net, and for God’s sake keep your head down. He just laughed with that great wide smile he had and that is the last time I saw him.
