Jasper S. "Jack" Perconte

Age 84. Passed away on Friday, September 19, 2008 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

Preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Mildred Pirc-Dutkiewicz.

Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary R. Perconte; his children, Jeanne (Mike) Skahan, Jack (Linda) Perconte and Marilyn (Mike) Wandolowski; his grandchildren, Matthew, Katie, Sarah (Joe), Andrea, Michal, Kevin, Jackie, David, Lauren and Sammy; a brother, Frank (late Evelyn) Perconte; and a sister, JoAnn (late William) Clennon; numerous nieces and nephews also survive along with his loyal companion, Mindy.

Jack was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Stone City Post V.F.W. #2199, American Legion Harwood Post and the Irving Club.

He loved to bowl in the Steel City Bowling League where he participated for many years.

He retired from U.S. Steel Corp. after 35 years of service.

Private family visitation will be held.

The Perconte family invites all family and friends to attend a funeral mass at the Cathedral of St. Raymond.at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 22, 2008. Interment Wood lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jack's name to St. Raymond's School would be appreciated.
