Uncle Wally served with the 453rd BG / 735th BS in 1944; he flew with Lt. Darrell Boucher's crew aboard the B-24J-131 "Shoo-Shoo Baby". Before heading off to Europe he married my mother’s sister Aldine, upon his return from the war he went on the raise four great children and have a great life.

Wally never talked about the war years and the family respectfully honored this. He is missed greatly by the rest of us but remembered fondly for the great man that he was.
