Albert was in my fathers platoon during the Battle of the Bulge. Art Jacobson and Albert were good friends and also served in I Co 330th. They were the bazooca team for the company. On Jan. 6, 1945 as they were liberating the Belgium town of Fraiture, Albert was killed by a German sniper. Albert is buried at Henry Chapelle Cemetery in Belgium. Albert and Art both personally recieved the Bronze Star for valor from General Macon. That was in France before the Bulge. Wim Doms a Belgium citizen and good friend has adopted Alberts grave at Henry Chapelle. We know of no living desendants of Albert but wish to locate one. In the meantime Alberts adopted Belgium brother Wim looks over his grave. We remember.
