Passed away on October 9, 2008 in Santa Rosa at the age of 88. Jack was born on December 9, 1919 in Centralia, WA and raised in Klamath Falls, OR. He was a captain in the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945 and flew 50 missions in B-25 aircraft in the North African Campaign. After serving as an instructor for the Air Force during the Korean War, he spent the next 30 years as an airline pilot for Pan Am. He was quite the outdoorsman being an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a fisher of men as an active member of the Gideons for many years. He was a member of the Santa Rosa Bible Church. He is survived by his wife, Grace (Terry) Lindh of Santa Rosa; his two sons, Jack (Guy) Lindh of Colfax, CA and Greg Lindh of Prescott Valley, AZ; his daughter, Barbara Smothers of Santa Rosa; seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Jack and Terry were married for 63 years. He will be greatly missed.
