Edison Blaine Roberts and Audrey Belle Roberts were married Sept. 1, 1943. From this union there were 7 children, 6 daughters and 1 son (died at birth). Edison and Audrey loved their God, Jehovah very much. They taught their children to love Him also. He loved going out and talking the Bible with anyone willing to listen.  He was presiding overseer for KIngdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Pound, Va prior to his death May 27, 1961. He was killed n a coal mine accident. The only man injured or killed. The statement was made to his wife by a fellow worker,"I will be quiting coal mine, because what happened to Edison and he was a good Christian man, makes me look at my life."  Thru the years fellow Christian Brothers would get the same report of what a God-fearing man he was.  He was a good Dad also. Although he had all girls, they all enjoyed sports together especially, soft ball.  In fact one week before his death, he won  12 - 0. This was true most times, but all enjoyed the family fun times. Memories cherished by all to this day.
