Private Norman Eric Larson was born on December 16, 1922, to Eric Gustav Larson and Bessie Delene Baxley in Salt Lake City, Utah. His siblings are Milo George, Thelma Ann, Bessie Ramona, Garold Griffin, and Bonnie Lee.

Norman enlisted on September 9, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Before enlisting Norman worked at Johnson’s Auto Metal. He served with the 864th Engineer Aviation Battalion. On January 30 1944 he was killed in the South Pacific in a nonbattle accident.

Private Norman Eric Larson’s final resting place is located at Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.
