J. BRUCE JUSTICE, 77, of Clayton, died Friday at his home.

Mr. Justice was born in Woodbury and lived in Clayton for 46 years. He was a power engineer at the Du Pont Co.'s Chambers Works in Deepwater, where he worked for more than 40 years. Mr. Justice was a captain in the Marines and served during World War II. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1801 of Clayton, Clayton Elks Lodge 2132, the Du Pont Pensioners' Club and the First Presbyterian Church of Clayton.

Survivors: his wife, Inez Silver Justice; two sons, J. Bruce Jr. of Atlanta and Mitch of Charleston, S.C.; a daughter, Jane Tittel of Toms River; two grandchildren, and three sisters, Jean Hale of Hartford, Conn., Frances Lawton of Newport News, Va., and Bonnie Dettwyler of Irvine, Calif.

Services: private; burial, Cedar Green Cemetery, Clayton. Barclay Funeral Home, Clayton.
