Daniel Eisinger Muster 7 INf Co.E.jpg

Daniel mustered in for 90 day service into the NY 5th Infantry on or around May 1, 1961.  He mustered out in early August 1861 and re-enlisted in the NY 7th Infantry on September 6, 1862.  Daniel fought in the Seven Days Campaign and fought in the Maryland Campaign.  He was wounded in action at the Sunken Road on September 17, 1862 during the battle of Sharpsburg. (Antietam) Daniel was discharged on November 28, 1862.
