Killed in the Baltimore Riots of 1861 at the beginning of the Civil War.

Originally buried and lost in Old Methodist Burying Ground. Body thought to be located but days of searching in 1910 proved fruitless. He is honored in Massachusetts Find A Grave Memorial# 7677963.

Please note that all 2777 graves from the Old Methodist Burial Ground were moved to Oak Lawn Cemetery, Eastpoint, Baltimore, Maryland in 1935. The location of the burial ground was consumed by the widening of Pulaski Highway. 1793 of the remains moved were listed as unidentified. Oak Lawn may have no record "by name" of those unidentified individuals.
