Pfc. U.S. Army Veteran, Korean War-Mr. Thomas Rowley died of natural causes on 1-9-2017 at the Graham Hospital in Canton, Illinois.

Mr. Rowley is the son of Mr. Thomas C. & Mrs. Bessie {Noe} Rowley of Lewistown, Illinois and the beloved husband of Mrs. Charlotte {Lillie} Rowley, and they were married in July of 1954, and she preceded him in death on 5-7-1986.

, There are five surviving children, Mr. William Davidson of Lewistown, Illinois, Miss Vickie S. Nell of Canton, Miss Melinda Ford of Canton, Mrs. Charlene {David} Moffitt of Lewistown, and Mrs. Connie J. Carter of Canton, 22 Grandchildren, and 17 Great-Grandchildren.

Two children preceded him in death, Mrs. Roberta Vaughn, and Mrs. Peggy Picton, and five sisters, Dorothy, Helen, Mary Lena, and Miss Virginia.

Mr. Rowley served God & Country during the Korean War, and returned to Illinois to work & retire from Caterpillar Inc. after 33 years.

Awards: Korean Service Medal with Two Service Stars, United Nations Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal.
