Biographical Sketch

    Private Reuben Seaberry was born in Florida ca. 1843.  In 1860 he was living near Quincy, Gadsden, Florida, at his mother Milbray’s residence along with four younger sisters.  William worked as a laborer.

    He enlisted on May 14th, 1862 at Rico’s Bluff, Liberty County, Florida in Captain Davidson’s Company.  He took ill after the company had departed the state, and was as left sick at Atlanta, Georgia prior to June 30th.

    He died of unspecified disease at Doctor D. O. C. Heery’s hospital at Atlanta, Georgia on July 9th, 1862.

    Rueben is interred at Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.
