Biographical Sketch

    Private Darley Eubanks was born ca. 1833 in Georgia. He married Nancy Todd on July 28th, 1856 at Gadsden County, Florida.  In 1860, he was living near Bristol Creek, Liberty County, Florida with Nancy and an infant daughter.  He had a personal worth of $100.

    He enlisted in Davidson’s Company on March 17th, 1862 at Quincy, Gadsden County, Florida.  He was listed as sick at Gadsden County from the date of his enlistment, and was there when the company left the state in June.  He returned to the company November 12th, 1862, and was present with it until late November/early December, 1863.  He died of unspecified disease while in a hospital at Griffin, Georgia on December 6th, 1863.

    He is interred at Stonewall Cemetery, Griffin, Spalding County, Georgia.
