Son of Herman Joseph Pennartz and Theresia Woerner. Husband of Caroline Nora Fritchie.

Augustine Anthony Pennartz, 85, of Charleston died Saturday, April 9, 1994, in a local hospital. He was a retired farmer and rancher and a member of Holy Name Society, Catholic Knights and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Rosary was recited 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 1994 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston. Mass was said at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 1994 at the church with burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline; a sister, Kathryne Geesing of Delta, Colorado; three brothers, Julius and Sylvan, both of Charleston and Conrad of Flagstaff, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Clifton Goldsmith, Bob Bishop, Greg Wolf, Herman Pennartz, John Robert Geesing and Augustine Spanel.
